A Catholic Community where Christian Love and Faith can be felt.
To provide a platform for children and youth to develop and nurture spirited Catholic Faith over a period of time from Preschool and Primary School to Secondary School and to vigorously prepare the children for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation, stressing the importance of Prayers and Living our Catholic Faith in our daily lives.
The Objective of the Faith Formation Program is to build a solid faith foundation of the children so that by the time they leave us, they will be ready for the world, to cling to their faith, practise their faith, to search further on the true faith and to be able to defend their faith.
The seed was planted on the eve of the great Millennium in the person of Ir Michael Hii; he wanted to do something for Church as a Thanksgiving for all the blessings he have received from God. The Faith Formation for Children (FFC) was successfully operational in 2002 after 2 years planning and deferment.
Ir Michael Hii was appointed Chairman by Rev Fr. Vincent Chin and was entrusted to run FFC for the parish. In 2002, FFC started with 6 classes namely Kindy to Primary 5; with 13 Faith Formators facilitating about 130 registered children.
Since 2003, one extra class was added each year to accommodate the growing and progress of the children. Today, after 7 years in operation, God in his abundant generosity has blessed FFC with 12 classes (Kindy to Form 5), with more than 410 registered children and 41 Faith Formators and helpers.
